Here Are A Few Things You Need To Know Before Joining
Membership to NAPO National is a requirement to join NAPO South Florida chapter, EXCEPT for Business Partners. If you are not yet a NAPO National member, please join.
When you are a member of NAPO National, you are eligible to join NAPO South Florida in the same membership category. Please see below membership categories. (Additional specialty membership categories are available.) For inquiries about membership email [email protected].
Please review our Code of Ethics prior to joining NAPO South Florida.
Local vs regional
Members who reside in St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward or Miami-Dade counties are considered LOCAL;
Members who reside at least 100 miles from the Broward/Palm Beach County Line and/or outside the counties noted above are considered REGIONAL. Although Regional members may not be able to attend all chapter meetings, you can still take advantage of many of the numerous member benefits.
Dues renewals are due by September 30th each year. If joining at any other time dues are prorated monthly.
Membership Categories
Professional
Annual Dues - Local $100 / Regional $50
An individual engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession that has joined NAPO National and has successfully completed the NAPO Professional Practices Coursework or have earned their CPO®credential.
A Professional Member is entitled to the full range of NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, be listed in the website directory, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
Multi-Person Business
Annual Dues - $100 / $75 Each Additional
Organizing and productivity businesses with more than one employee or owner may purchase multiple memberships at a discounted rate.
Membership through this dues structure is available to business owners, partners, or W-2 employees only; independent contractors are not eligible. Under this structure, business owners and/or employees will share the same renewal date.
Provisional
Annual Dues - Local $100 / Regional $50
An individual engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession that has joined NAPO National as a Provisional Member. A Provisional Member may advance to Professional Member status after successfully completing the NAPO Professional Practices Curriculum.
A Provisional Member enjoys many NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, a listing in the website directory and voting privileges, but cannot hold office or serve on the Board of Directors.
Emeritus
Annual Dues - $25
Professional Members are eligible for Emeritus Membership (Retired) once they are no longer engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession, are at least 55 years of age, and have been a NAPO member for at least 15 years.
An Emeritus Member will continue to receive the full range of NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, be listed in the website directory, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
