National Membership
Membership in NAPO National is a requirement for NAPO South Florida membership, EXCEPT for Corporate Associates.  If you are not currently a NAPO National member, please join NAPO National.
 
Code of Ethics
All members of NAPO pledge to exercise judgment, self-restraint and conscience in their conduct in order to establish and maintain public confidence in the integrity of NAPO members and to preserve and encourage fair and equitable practices among all who are engaged in the profession of organizing.  Please review our Code of Ethics prior to joining NAPO South Florida. 
 
Membership Categories
When you are a member of NAPO National, you are eligible to join NAPO South Florida in the same membership category.  Listed below are NAPO South Florida’s common membership categories.  (Additional specialty membership categories are available; see application form for more information.)
 
Within each category, members who reside in St. Lucie, Martin, Palm Beach, Broward or Dade counties are considered LOCAL; members who reside at least 100 miles from the Broward/Palm Beach County Line and/or outside the counties noted above are considered REGIONAL. 
Dues are renewed on September 30th each year.  If joining at any other time dues are prorated monthly.
 
Provisional Member (Local and Regional)
 
Annual Dues:  Local - $75  /  Regional - $50  *
 
An individual engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession and has joined NAPO National as a Provisional Member.  A Provisional Member may advance to Professional Member status after successfully completing the NAPO Professional Practices Curriculum:
 
• Fundamental Organizing and Productivity Principles
• Fundamental Organizing and Productivity Skills
• Ethics for Professional Organizers and Productivity Specialists
 
A Provisional Member enjoys many NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, a listing in the website directory and voting privileges, but cannot hold office or serve on the Board of Directors.
 

 

♦ Professional Member (Local and Regional)
 
An individual engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession and has successfully completed the NAPO Professional Practices Curriculum.  Professional membership is offered at two levels:
 
  • Professional Member Without Employees
Annual Dues:  Local - $75  /  Regional - $50  *
 
  • Professional Member With Employees
Annual Dues:  Local - $75  /  Regional - $50   (each employee $25) *
 
A Professional Member is entitled to the full range of NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, be listed in the website directory, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
 
 
♦ Employee of Professional Member
 
Annual Dues: $25  *
 
An individual who is currently employed by a NAPO South Florida Professional Member to do business primarily in the field of professional organizing services.
 
This category of membership must be purchased by and belongs to the Professional Member (the employer), and is transferable to another designated employee with written notification to NAPO South Florida.
 
An Employee of Professional Member is entitled to the full range of NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, be listed in the website directory, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
 
 
♦ Emeritus Member
 
Annual Dues: $25  *
 
Retired Professional Members are eligible for Emeritus Membership once they are no longer engaged in the organizing and/or productivity profession, are at least 55 years of age, and have been a NAPO member for at least 15 years.
 
An Emeritus Member will continue to receive the full range of NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, be listed in the website directory, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
 
 
♦ Corporate Associate Member
 
Annual Dues: $150 *
 
A business entity that is engaged in the manufacture, distribution, and/or sale of organizing products or services that complement the organizing and/or productivity industry.  National membership is NOT required to be a Corporate Associate Member of the South Florida Chapter.
 
A Corporate Associate Member (CAM) is entitled to many NAPO South Florida benefits, including attending scheduled meetings and events, have voting privileges, hold office and serve on the Board of Directors.
 
As a CAM, your business is featured on NAPO South Florida’s website with your logo, your business description, and a link to your business website.  You will also have the opportunity to make a presentation on your business at a chapter meeting.
